Our snack menu features a variety of treats to boost your energy levels or reward yourself after conquering the hill. Indulge in homemade cakes, biscuits, and other light refreshments that have been sustaining Wrekin walkers for generations.

Our Café at The Halfway House

Open throughout the year (weather permitting), we adjust our hours seasonally to accommodate visitors. During summer months and bank holidays, you’ll find us ready to welcome you for longer periods, while in winter, we’re still here for those brave enough to tackle The Wrekin in chillier conditions.

The Halfway House has been a cherished landmark since 1934, and we continue the tradition of offering a friendly welcome, spectacular views, and just the refreshments you need at precisely the right point in your journey.

Come and visit us – we’re quite literally halfway there!
